Meet The CEO and Founder
I’m Tonia Martinez, the CEO and Founder of Career Transformations, a boutique recruiting and outplacement consulting firm. I have spent nearly my entire professional career in Human Resources, focused on the Talent Acquisition side of the house. In addition, I’ve held various roles within HR helping people, and it was clear to me at an early age “helping people” is what I am about, from the core of who I am. It’s My Jam! Some additional work I did throughout my career included interviewing to attract talent, training managers on improved interviewing, orientation and onboarding design, benefit enhancements, employee engagement surveys, exit interview strategizing, and management coaching to better retain employees.
What you get when you work with me is a trusted, honest, ethical, and professional partner that will go to work for you immediately. I work well with all levels of individuals and truly enjoy helping people create better ways to interview, hire, source, and even retain talent. It’s what I’ve done all my life and now I get to do it for myself as an entrepreneur. I pride myself on building and fostering positive and professional relationships with my clients, referral partners, networks, and candidates that I pipeline for career opportunities.
For fun, I enjoy playing competitive billiards, riding my Harley Davidson motorcycle, being outdoors walking, and spending time with my amazing family.

We bring 22 years of human resources experience, delivering a holistic approach to hiring. We are experts in the field and understand the entire process of hiring from our corporate background in talent acquisition.
We’ve spent many years developing hiring processes and we understand the importance of retaining employees. Our recruiting experience is vast as we hire for a wide range of industries on a national level, for positions, primarily focused on management-level positions to the c-suite and beyond.
